Improved STARBoard Handle on the STARSystem and IR System

The STARBoard has long been a core component of the STARSystem and IR System, supporting precise wrist articulation for improved radial access and patient positioning. Based on valuable market feedback, we have introduced an update to further improve control and security.

Previously, some users experienced loose friction on the STARBoard handle, which could cause unintended wrist rotation during procedures. This was particularly noted in units that had been in use for several years, requiring re-tightening during maintenance.

To resolve this, the handle now uses a Thumbscrew Wrist Pivot and Wrist Pivot Cone, replacing the existing hex bolt. These proven components are already used in the Wrist Pivot Assembly, allowing easier adjustment of friction and better long term stability.
