How to place the Daggerboard for IR Shield use?
Slide the Daggerboard underneath the patient, positioning it to shield the clinician from scatter radiation. The optimal position creates a triangular angle between the IR Shield, Extension Tray, and the clinician.
How to insert the IR Shield into the daggerboard?
Lower the IR Shield vertically into the groove on the daggerboard. Make sure it sits firmly and securely within the groove.
How to move the IR Shield during use?
To reposition the shield, slide it along the groove without lifting it. Do not move the shield too far to one side as uneven weight may cause it to fall.
How to store the IR Shield?
Remove the shield by lifting it out of the Daggerboard groove. Lay it flat over the surface of the Daggerboard for compact, safe storage.
